Nurse Credentialing Organization Sets Strategy for Certification
In November, theDifference facilitated a 2-day Design Workshop for the Commissioners and Staff of the world’s largest and most prestigious nurse credentialing organization.
The goal of the workshop was to determine the strategic priorities, key initiatives, and action plans for Certification products & services. Using the collaborative Three Conversations model, the team set context through group discussions targeted at current industry trends. Then, each participant painted their picture of success in 2020 to make their strategic perspective visible to the team. Conversations focused on potential variables in an uncertain future generated possibilities that the team then worked into strategic priorities, initiatives, and actions. Led by Executive Director Tom Kehner from The Difference, the team leveraged a traditional boardroom and Post-It flipcharts to iterate their thinking and prioritize their actions.
